Introduction to UK Law
Is a free online course for Ukrainian law students who were forced to give up studying because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine
This course was developed by leading lawyers in their fields led by David Williams KC.
This course is an extremely rare and one-off opportunity to hear directly from the UK’s leading legal experts.
Having held the first very successful series of video lectures, the organizers decided not to stop there and continue to help Ukrainian law students to learn British law online.
This is not a formal academic course. However, you will receive a certificate of participation from David Williams KC and partner universities. By the end of this course, you will have an insight into one of the most internationally recognised legal systems while allowing you to meet and discuss topics with some of the most influential legal minds in the UK.
This foundational introduction to several aspects of UK Law will provide you with a perspective on UK legal practices, giving you a counterpoint and alternative view to your studies in Ukrainian law.
It could help you understand if UK Law will have a role to play in your future careers, whether as part of an international law firm or as part of the reconstruction of Ukrainian judiciary and civil practices.
